Each comedy is rehearsed in a single day, then performed as a concert reading. A rare opportunity to see new work as it is being developed.

July 17 - Murphy's Law by Kenneth L. Stilson. In Sopranos-like fashion, filled with humour and violence, this play recounts the unusual evolution of the twenty-nine year friendship of two "made" members of an organized scrime syndicate, leading to a surprising discovery and an unexpected conclusion.

July 24 - Sexiversary! by Gabrielle Roman. Damon is on a mission to impress his girlfriend, but Portia just isn't in the mood. Jordan is on a mission to keep is mother in the dark, but Fatima isn't having it. A comedy that captures the difficulty of relationships of all kinds, teh strange and turbulent age of "20-something," and the realization that sooner or later we have to admit the world doesn't revolve around us.

Both readings begin at 7:30PM in the Corner Playhouse
